This is a rebuilt and reconditioned late 1931 Zenith 2 Carburetor with the side bowl. The carburetor bodies were bead blasted, all passages cleared, threads chased, hydrostatically cleaned, then painted with high temp fuel resistant paint. All internal components are either new or reconditioned. All threads and surfaces are sealed with proper fuel safe sealants. It has also been leak tested to ensure that both the float and needle are working properly. Mounting flange was cracked, but not broken off. So it has been repaired by drilling and pinning along with high temp and strength epoxy.
This carb is hard to come by with other sellers asking over $500 for a complete core or $400 for a partial core. This one is rebuilt to high standards and ready to go! It has not been flow tested.Ā
This carb can also be used on any Model A by just making a new fuel line at the appropriate length.
