This car is a personal Millworks build that showcases all of the Old Yankee Speed Flathead V8 conversion parts along with a some traditional V8 speed parts and period correct hot rod goods.

The Model A originated as an excellent condition stock original coupe, the fuel tank top was filled and a 36 ford dash installed. The tank top, dash, garnish moldings and chassis were paint refreshed to match the darker green color that was originally on the car. The dash has very rare accessory defrost duct that had been chromed, glovebox door that had been chromed, restored gauges, and original waterfall and ashtray.

Engine is a 1949 8ba fully rebuilt, .060” over with new offy pistons and hasting rings, all new bearings on the crank which was reground 10/10, 8ba rods with new bearings. Isky max 1 cam, Johnson adjustable lifters, all new SS valves & complete valve train, melling oil pump, offy 400jr heads, Edelbrock tri-power intake with all new from England Stromberg 81s on progressive linkage, Stromberg e-fire ignition, fully rebuilt generator and starter and voltage regulator with chromed cover. Grace & co air cleaners.

  • Trans is a 1939 Ford toploader with a 46-48 rear mount sitting on the OYS trans mount, with full hydraulic brake pedal assembly.
  • Brian Bass Early Ford Backing plate to bendix style converted drum brakes with new Boling Brothers USA drums on all four corners.
  • Rear banjo is a 1940 fully rebuilt with new Italian made 3.54 gears, shortened torque tube, with 46-48 wishbones & OYS rear spring/spring hangers/original 48 ford shock mounts.
  • 40 ford 16x4” wheels painted black wrapped in new firestone 750 and 550 firestones, sporting mercury smooth caps.
  • Stock model a wool interior with rubber floor mat and sound deadener interior/trunk
  • 1930 original nickel grill shell

  • Rebuilt and converted to 3 bolt flange f1 steering with new f1 steering wheel
