These shock plates are design to be used in conjunction with the Old Yankee Speed Co. AV8 motor mounts. They have two through holes for shock mount bolts and one that is threaded to bolt securely through the frame. These are a good item to use if you intend on using stock Model A shocks because it secures both motor mount and shock in the correct stock shock location.
